Hi All,
recently there was an outage in which none of the users where unable to login to some shares hosted on a cluster servers which has 3 nodes(3,4,5). resources were on node 3 and suddenly none of the users were able to access the shares. we admins were able to login. we did some few checkouts like cluster resource issue, AD policies issues, CPU and memory usage, network connections everything seems to be normal and find no issues with it. finally we failover the resources to node 5 and reboot node 3 and post that resources moved back to node 3 again and everything was fine.
My question here is what may be the reason for such disruption and solution to prevent it going forward. thanks in advance.
