We have an old 03 server that was used as a file server and folder redirection for "My Documents". The old server is dying, so we started to copy everything off of it to a new server. Once that was done, we set up the folder redirection to point to the new server in AD using a GPO.
When users logged in today it looks like their my documents folder was still pointing to the old server. The old server has a DFS for that folder, not for replication for the share name space.
Can some one please advise me on why it is still pointing to the old server? IS there any way i can for a gp upate on all machine without having to go around to each and run "gpupdate"
