DFS Setup - Temporally

HI All,

 We have a NAS and store all the Business Data. This NAS in our Branch Office. All other Branches access via the IPVPN but take long to read/write.

 So Business need to fix this issue asap. I have recommend to setup the DFS. But I can setup Windows 2008 R2 VM in  two Branch Offices and Add Temp Windows 2008 Server in City office to replicate till i purchase the new servers for the branch offices.

 1. Any recommendation?

 2. How do i replace this Temp Server with new Server?

 3. Setup VM as the DFS root ( 2 Vcpu, 4GB RAM, disk1 c: 80GB  disk2 D:500GB ) ?
