We have WK28 R2 SP1 remote desktop servers on which if I create a folder and try to share it the following message is shown by the file sharing wizard at the end
"Your folder can't be shared"
I try to access the c$ and d$ shares on the server it self by typing \\server IP\c$ or d$ and a pop up with title "Network Error" says that Windows cannot acces \\Server IP\c$ or d$. Details show Error Code:0x80070002 The system cannot find the
file specified.
Same happens when I try to access c$ or d$ of another server.
I tried installing file services on the problematic RDS and when I try to provision a share, on clicking "Browse" on Shared Folder Location Step in Provision a Shared Folder Wizard a pop up with title Error says "The Browse dialog box could not be opened for the selected computer. Make sure the computer is online".
What may be the problem? Have checked all the required services and network ports. Everything seems OK.
