File System Structure Corrupt DFS File Server - After Extending Drive

Hi,

I have the following event on one of Windows 2008 (32bit) SP2 file servers. This is a vmware guest (running on vmware esx 5.1). I moved the server to a bigger data store and subsequently needed to extend the volumes. One volume extended fine no problems, when I extended the 2nd volume it came up with "parameter incorrect error", which i have read workarounds for and then used diskpart to extend the filesystem (as disk manager was reporting the correct partition size), but when you looked in my computer the free space hadn't increased. As these are DFS servers, if I was to run a checkdisk on the affected volume would this affect replication adversely? I was a bit concerned it might then try and replicate the wrong way? Just wanted to know the best way to get round this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
