Demoting a PDC that has DFS

I am about to demote a PDC, so that I can convert it to a Citrix server, this server also hosts much of our company drives in a DFS (It is the target).  I am wondering if this will be seamless or if I will end up with troubles post-demotion.

I had two PDC's for lack of a better word we will call them PDC1 and PDC2.

PDC2 is a hefty server just doing filesharing and DNS AD duties.

So I decided I would take an older server PDC3 and reinstall it and make it a dedicated PDC.

I reinstalled PDC3, joined it, transferred operational roles from PDC2 to PDC3.

Now PDC2 still has File services with DFS Management installed, it also hosts 4 of the physical DFS locations (these particular shares are not replicating to any other server).

PDC1 also is joined to the DFS namespace, however it does not possess copies of these shares.

Can I expect difficulty with DFS or Printer Sharing with PDC2 after completing PDC demotion, or will it be as simple as demote PDC2 and reboot, rejoin the domain, and the shares/permissions/DFS will remain intact?
