Rename file does not work in Windows Explorer

I connect to this Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard SP1 using Remote Access.

Since sometime now, I am not able to rename files and folders in Windows Explorer. No messages too. When I right-click a file and select Rename, nothing happens. I am able to create (when I create new folder, it creates a folder named New Folder but I can't rename it) and delete. The location of the file/folder does not matter.

I have to open a command window and use the rename command. So, through the command window remaning works just fine.

Any suggestion???
