The DFS Replication service detected that the replicated folder at local path has been removed from configuration

After setting up our servers, I configured the event log monitor to email me when event 4010 is logged.  This event indicates when removal of a folder from a replication group is complete.  I configured monitoring of the event for convenience as I was making a lot of changes to DFS-R and this would alert me when a server was ready for the next step.  I left it in because it seemed like a good thing to be notified about if it occurs when I am not expecting it.

However, I've found that the event gets logged quite frequently.  The first time it unexpectedly occurred, I was in a panic thinking that my DFS-R configuration had been damaged.  However, I've come to learn that this alert gets logged whenever Windows Server Backup is backing up the system.

So, it's one of those items that can be safely ignored, but I disagree with it being logged like this.  The fact is that the folder has not really been removed from the configuration when a backup is running.  I hope that the developers will correct this with a future update.  It's useful to log when a folder is removed from the configuration, but only if it has actually been removed.
