I have a new 2012 R2 Server Essentials system to replace a WHS v1 system.
Ever since installing the system and copying my media files over, I have been getting errors from the system:
<Title> Free space is low on hard drives. <Description> The following hard drives have less than 10 % of free space:E:\
If space is not made available, you may not be able to save additional information.. <AdditionalInfo> .
However, both the storage space and the individual drives (build from 2x2TB in a mirror) have more than enough space to cover my media files (400GB), and the backup of my first computer(400GB), for 800GB, or 1.6TB in a mirror.
Specifically:
Storage space (E:)
Storage Pool information:
Storage pool capacity 3.6 TB
Storage pool used space 1.6 TB
Storage Space information about this drive:
Storage space size: 16TB
Storage space allocated size: 864.2
Provisioning type: Thin
Resiliency type: Two-way mirror
I have two questions:
1. Is something misconfigured in my storage space, such that I'm actually out of space somewhere?
2. If not, why am I getting this error?
